About Us

"BAT Productions is a group of creative and likeminded people who have together vested in bringing out of the box ideas to reality.
In any Film Production, the film director holds an honoured position. Like a conductor of an orchestra, a director must coordinate a whole team of actors, crew members, camera operators, producers, and the many other individual positions that make up a film set.
Our creative team lead by Mr. Taj Toor ensures the same by ensuring that a suitable director and the right crew is assigned for the project. Taj takes utmost care in ensuring that the content of our films are not restricted to stereotypical forms of storytelling but also reaches out to touch human emotions in the most divergent and cerebral fashion.
Digital technology has changed TV and film - for the better. It’s opened up all new ways for content to be consumed. Our Technical Team headed by Mr. Bishal Paudyal ensures use of state of the art equipment and modern technical knowhow in bringing the Director’s vision to reality in the most convincing manner. Bishal’s field of profess is Cinematography.
Speaking of Production, We like to say that we are different and we believe in making a difference.
Our Production Head and one of the Directors Mr. Aviral Mohan is a qualified film producer and has the expertise in delivering the best possible product at an optimal cost. Aviral believes in being approachable and inclusive and as a Producer he has a composed nature combined with great rapport with the team. He is a skilled person who approaches his work with instinctive knowledge, along with the experience of the creative filmmaking process that means each finished project is unique and special.

Bishal Paudyal
Technical Head (Read More)

Bishal is a qualified Director of Photography and has several years of experience under his belt. His scope of expertise knows no bounds and as a DOP he works in a collaborative partnership with directors to deliver the photographic intent and soul of the screenplay by creating a visual style and mood that best suits director's vision.

His passion is not limited to photography but he is also a very skilled editor and visual effects artist.

He has worked on several projects varying in style and genre and believes in experimenting to create a unique product. 

Some of the proud projects he has been involved with include: 

  • The Doctor, a well-received Short film; 
  • The Unexpected, an award winning short film; 
  • Corporate video for Expert Education and Visa Services; 
  • Promotional Video for Westmead medical centre; 
  • Several music videos and web commercials.

Aviral Mohan

Aviral Mohan started his career as an actor with training in Meisner technique and Stanislavsky method and has done a variety of theatre performances including some multiple roles and has feature film and short film experience too. Aviral has professionally recorded several audio books. After completing his director’s course from Sydney film base, he has been involved in directing short films. Aviral has written various short stories and scripts for theatre as well as short films and feature films. Aviral has lately being involved in corporate videos and advertisements. He is very approachable and guides you through the processes of filmmaking like voice recording, locations, finances and other details to make your project a success.

Taj Toor is one of our appraised directors who knows what he wants and how to achieve it. Coming from an artistic family, he has been exposed to various forms of art since childhood. He started off as an actor doing theater and graduated to directing short films and corporate videos. Some of his proud work overseas include The Last Bite, a satirical drama; Watching Myself, a philosophical drama; and Sach ki Sazaa (Hindi Comedy). Some of his work in Australia include Welcome to Mount Isa, a construction documentary; Biting Freedom, a Satirical comedy; The Doctor, suspense drama; The Unexpected, a suspense thriller and several corporate and promotional videos.

My passion for character creation shows in my expertise and attention to detail within the hair and makeup field. We are capable of creating anything from natural to special effects for any productions.  Love what you do and you will do it well,I have been a makeup artist for 15 years and within that I've had the pleasure to work on feature films, infi films, short films and tv serious in all genres from thrillers, dramas, sci fi, horror to comedy.

I've had the honor to work with great Australian talent on side projects such as Odessa Young (the daughter), Nic Westaway (home and away), Tim Ross (wonderland), LeeAnna Walsman (Star Wars)
